Great news for indie game fans: publisher Devolver Digital has acquired Doinksoft Studios

Devolver Digital and indie studio Doinksoft have taken their collaboration to a new level.

The authors of the metroidvania Gato Roboto and the Nintendo Switch shooter Demon Throttle will now become part of Devolver Digital's internal studios.

The amount of the deal has not been disclosed, but it is known that the American developers are already working on the dystopian metroidvania Gunbrella, which will be released on Nintendo Switch and MS. An exact release date for the game has yet to be announced, but Doinksoft plans to release it this year.
