Rumour and hints: new Mortal Kombat title to be unveiled this week, set for release in September 2023

In February 2023, Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav confirmed the development of Mortal Kombat 12, but did not disclose any details.

Perhaps the full presentation of the new part of the famous series will be held this week - said the professional cyber-sports and fighting games expert SonicFox.

And then the allegorical hints came from two reputable insiders: Jeff Grubb commented on the post with "They're going into space", while Jez Corden continued: "In September".

It's hard to decipher the insiders' hints, but they probably mean that Mortal Kombat 12 is scheduled for a September 2023 release, and the reference to space references Starfield, which also comes out in September.

In addition, the developers have also updated the Mortal Kombat website, which could indicate important news about the game is coming.
