A reputable journalist has hinted that a real-time strategy game based on the Star Wars universe is in development, and it is not a game from Respawn Studios

We know that Respawn has been working on several games in the Star Wars universe, one of which will be a real-time strategy game.

But perhaps the creators of Jedi: Survivor aren't the only ones working on a game in this setting and genre.

Here's What We Know

According to a tweet from VGC's editor Andy Robinson, a large studio is developing another unannounced Star Wars-based real-time strategy game.

He didn't specify any details, but did let slip that the game will be released much sooner than one would expect from an as-yet-unannounced project.

Perhaps it will be a sequel to Star Wars Empire at War, or maybe it will be something entirely new.
