Polish videogame company CD Projekt has shared its 2022 statistics for the GOG digital shop.
In 2021, the site was deemed unprofitable, and the company had to work hard to make GOG interesting to gamers again and bring a stable income to the owners.

The company reported that the digital shop's unprofitability has been resolved, and in 2022, its net profit from game sales was $1.2 million.
The shop has been steadily attracting new customers, with GOG's catalogue steadily growing, and in 2022 it added 884 games and now offers 7,700 projects.
European customers bring the most money to GOG (53% of revenue), followed by North Americans (37%) and the Asian segment is extremely small with only 8% (Asia + New Zealand).
In 2022 the most popular games on GOG are The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Wheel of Time and the Mortal Kombat trilogy. Role-playing games, as well as action and strategy games, are the most commonly purchased games on GOG.
In 2022, almost 22 million copies of games were given to the shop's users for free.
