The mega-popular online shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive continues to break its own records.

Here's What We Know

On May 5, we reported that game's online peak was set to 1,557,335 users. And it took just one day to surpass that record!

According to SteamDB statistics, on May 6 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive registered 1 818 773 concurrent players, which is almost 300 thousand more than previous record.

Probably, the surge of interest in the shooter is associated with the upcoming release of Counter-Strike 2 and regular eSports competitions. The next CS:GO tournament BLAST Paris Major 2023 will be held on May 8-21 in France.
