Guerrilla Games is celebrating an anniversary. The developers have released a video about their work and shared sales figures for the Horizon series

Dutch studio Guerrilla Games is celebrating its twentieth anniversary.

Here's What We Know

The studio was founded in 2003 on the basis of the Lost Boys Games collective. The team rose to prominence with the release of the Killzone shooter series, and the developers gained worldwide popularity in 2017 with the release of Horizon Zero Dawn.

To celebrate the anniversary, Guerrilla Games released a video about their history and creative journey. They shared memories of working on their games and their own Decima engine, which Hideo Kojima appreciated and used in the development of Death Stranding.

Guerrilla Games has proudly announced that the Horizon games have sold more than 32.7 million copies, and separately noted that Horizon Forbidden West has sold 8.4 million copies.

The developers have reminded that they are working on new games, including the third Horizon game.
