Capcom is doing great! The company's financial report for 2022 shows record sales growth and solid profits
Japanese publisher Capcom has released its financial report for 2022.
Here's What We Know
The released document states that the developer is doing great. For the year the company has sold 41.7 million copies of the game, which is 9 million more than in 2021.
For six consecutive years Capcom has exceeded its own sales records and is planning to continue this trend in 2023.
The biggest success in the last fiscal year was Resident Evil 4 remake (5.45 million copies) and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak ( 3.75 million copies). However, the most popular games of the past years are Resident Evil and Devil May Cry series. The total sales of the old hits amounted to 29.3 million copies.
On the back of high sales Capcom's stock rose significantly and currently stands at about $38.
