2,000 employees aren't enough! Ubisoft will increase by 40% the number of people working on new Assassin's Creed games
During a call with investors, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot revealed that his company plans to increase the number of staff working on the Assassin's Creed franchise games.
Here's What We Know
The head of the French publisher noted that there are currently 2,000 people working on the Assassin's Creed games, which is 10% of the staff.
Yves Guillemot stated:
As part of our gradual redeployment of resources, we plan to increase the number of developers working on the Assassin's Creed brand by 40% in the coming years.
Considering that there are 6 Assassin's Creed games in development according to Ubisoft (although insiders assure that there are 10), a figure of 2,800 employees does not seem excessive, especially if Ubisoft will also improve the quality of the games.
