A division of NetEase Corporation has begun development on a new Warhammer universe game
Jackalope Games, the studio owned by China's NetEase Corporation, has come out with two big news.
Here's What We Know
The studio has changed its name slightly, instead of Jackalope it is now called Jackalyptic Games.
But gamers are more interested in the other news: the developer has signed a contract with Games Workshop to develop a big-budget game based on the Warhammer universe.
Since the company is headed by Jack Emmert, the developer of successful multiplayer games (City of Heroes, City of Villains, DC Universe Online), it's likely that the new project will also be an MMORPG, but officially it's not reported.
Recall that on May 25, Warhammer Skulls 2023 show will be held where new games from this super-popular franchise will be presented.
