Nostalgia guaranteed: Buyers of the Assassin's Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition will receive in-game Prince of Persia-inspired items
By promoting Assassin's Creed Mirage, Ubisoft is playing on the nostalgia of not only fans of the first parts of Assassin's Creed, but also of the Prince of Persia franchise.
Here's What We Know
The developers have announced that buyers of Assassin's Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition will receive in-game bonuses in Prince of Persia stats.
Basim will be able to dress up as the Persian heir apparent and arm himself with the Dagger of Time and Sand Sword. Additionally, players will be able to change the appearance of Bassim's eagle and horse. It will become similar to the Dark Prince from the 2005 game - the black horse will be covered with gold tattoos.
Assassin's Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition will cost $60, $10 more than the standard edition.
Pre-orders are now open, and players will receive a bonus quest, The Forty Thieves, for placing them.
When We Can Expect It
Assassin's Creed Mirage will release on October 12 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
