From CD Projekt's financial report: Sales of The Witcher franchise exceed 75 million copies and the marketing campaign for the Phantom Liberty expansion to Cyberpunk 2077 launches in June
CD Projekt has released its financial report for the first quarter of 2023.
Here's What We Know
Materially speaking, the company had revenue of PLN 175 million ($41.5 million) and a net profit of around PLN 75 million ($17.8 million).
Most of the money earned will go to the development of new projects that the CD Projekt team is working on.
The developers also boasted the number of sold copies of their games. Thus, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sold over 50 million copies, and thanks to this, the game entered the top 10 best-selling games in the industry's history. And the total sales of The Witcher franchise exceeded 75 million copies.
As for future plans, the company reminded: in June we are launching an active advertising campaign of the Phantom Liberty add-on for Cyberpunk 2077, and Summer Game Fest will hold its detailed demonstration.

The report also includes a new artwork featuring secret agent Solomon Reed, played by renowned actor Idris Elba.
