Another country has backed the merger between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.
Here's What We Know
South Korea has become the thirty-ninth country to give its approval to the biggest deal in the gaming industry.
The Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) has not seen serious risks to the South Korean market and noted that the merger, on the contrary, will have a positive effect on competition among game console manufacturers.
For now, Microsoft's main goal is to convince the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the legality of the deal and win the case in the court of appeals against the UK regulators (CMA).
