Mortal Kombat creator hints that a new installment of the fighting game may feature characters from the early parts of the series

A new announcement from NetherRealm studio head Ed Boon will be of interest to fans of the old Mortal Kombat installments.
Here's What We Know
On his Twitter account, game designer posted an image of the characters from the early parts of Mortal Kombat, which were not featured in the latest installments of the franchise, but may appear in Mortal Kombat 1 (2023).

When We Can Expect It
Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 19 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
