Just after the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct ended, Bethesda has updated the space RPG's Steam page with the system requirements for Starfield.
We can state that the game is not as demanding (at least "on paper") as it may have seemed. The main problem will be the need to free up 125 GB on your hard drive and have 16 GB of RAM. All other requirements are fairly lenient.
System Requirements
Minimum
- Operating system: Windows 10;
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x or Intel Core i7-6800K;
- Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 5700 or NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti;
- DirectX 12;
- RAM: 16GB;
- Storage space: 125GB;
- SSD is preferred.
Recommended:
- Operating system: Windows 10/11 with updates;
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel i5-10600K;
- Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080;
- DirectX 12;
- RAM: 16GB;
- Free space on the drive: 125GB;
- Preferably an SSD.
