The new Prince isn't so bad: Ubisoft has unveiled a detailed gameplay trailer for Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

As part of Ubisoft Forward's presentation, the company has unveiled a detailed trailer for the action platformer Prince of Persia The Lost Crown.

Here's What We Know

As a reminder, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown was first shown a few days ago at Summer Game Fest, and the audience met the debut trailer critically.

However, upon closer inspection, it seems that the game could turn out to be quite interesting.

The new trailer has made it clear that the game's protagonist is not the Prince of Persia, as was the case in previous installments, but one of his warriors named Sargon, who must find the kidnapped Prince.

The gameplay of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown involves a lot of acrobatic elements and battles with various monsters and drugged-out warriors. Players will again be able to manipulate the passage of time, such as slowing it down and going back in time for a few minutes.

Overall, the game looks dynamic, fresh and colourful, but it's clearly not what fans of the series have come to expect.

When We Can Expect It

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown will be released on January 18, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
