Here's What We Know

The main difference between PAYDAY 3 and PAYDAY 2 is that in the second part, the gameplay was divided into two components: stealth and shootouts. The sequel adds a third element - search. Now, before the explosions, chases, and shooting start, the area will be searched by the guards to find you. This third element will allow you to diversify the passage.

Another interesting detail is that you can now take hostages to exchange them for resources or buy time. If you decide to go all-in, hostages can be used as human shields and destroy enemies more safely.

The plot has moved from Washington to New York, which the developers call the "heart of capitalism", which is ideal for a game about robberies. The third part will continue the story of the original gang, and two more new robbers will join it. The developers promise a coherent story focused on the main characters to maintain a sense of immersion.
