Focus Entertainment has published a story trailer for the strategy game Aliens: Dark Descent, which introduces gamers to the events of the game in more detail.

Here's What We Know

The trailer shows how the spaceship Otago crashes on the planet Lethe. Now, the crew of colonial marines must investigate and stop the outbreak of xenomorphs - from facehuggers to Praetorians and other dangerous threats. At the same time, we were shown several important characters in this story who are constantly quarreling with each other, defending their interests and trying to survive in this madness.

We also saw a few fragments of the gameplay, where a squad of 5 soldiers is in different locations and using different weapons to resist the onslaught of monsters.

Aliens: Dark Descent is a single-player real-time strategy game where the player leads a squad of colonial marines to stop the threat. The game promises spacious locations, a squad customisation system, the ability to upgrade soldiers and manage resources. The game is being developed by Tindalos Interactive, which previously created the strategy game Battlefleet Gothic: Armada.

When We Can Expect It

Aliens: Dark Descent is scheduled for release on 20 June on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
