Microsoft is not seeking a monopoly! According to documents presented in court, future ZeniMax Media (Bethesda) games could be released on PlayStation and Nintendo
During the court hearings on the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard merger, interesting information has been made public that concerns games from the ZeniMax Media holding company, which also includes Bethesda publishers.
Here's What We Know
According to documents submitted for the court hearing with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), it was revealed that Microsoft has not only not ruled out, but also plans that a number of ZeniMax Media games will be available not only on PC and Xbox, but also on PlayStation and Nintendo.
Consequently, a number of games not only by Bethesda, but also, for example, by id Software, Machine Games, Arkane Studios, Tango Gameworks and other divisions will not be exclusive to Microsoft platforms.
Just as I finished commenting on the public version of the FTC's proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law (thread: https://t.co/EuGNabjzvB), Microsoft & Activision filed the public version of their own proposed findings and conclusions.
