Caldera shuts down: just three years after release, developers will shut down servers for the first version of Call of Duty: Warzone

After the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, the developers from Activision added the Caldera subtitle to the title of the first version of the shooter to prevent players from getting confused.

But it seems that the players won't be "confused" for long.

Here's What We Know

Activision has announced that it will shut down Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera servers on September 21.

On that day, just three years after the shooter's launch (which is very little for a game like this), users will lose access to Caldera and their own in-game items.

As for the additional content from Modern Warfare (2019), Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard that was also available in Caldera, it will still remain in those games.
