Final Fantasy XVI producer: The game will definitely come out on PC, but due to technical problems it may take longer than gamers would like
Final Fantasy XVI was released on 22 June and the game immediately won over gamers and critics alike.
At the moment, the new installment of the iconic series is only available on PlayStation 5, but that won't always be the case.
Here's What We Know
Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida revealed in a recent stream that the development team is indeed working on a PC version of the game. According to the contract with Sony, it can't be released before six months after release, but Yoshida mentioned that it's likely the gamemakers will need more time to port it to PC.
The fact is that the team has encountered some difficulties in optimizing Final Fantasy XVI for PC. On PlayStation 5 they have managed to achieve that the game does not have a single loading screen and moving between locations is instantaneous. On PC the developers would like to repeat the same effect, but it is very difficult to achieve it.
Well, PC gamers will have to wait for the Final Fantasy XVI, but now we know that sooner or later they will be able to pass the game.
