Mortal Kombat 1 stress-test access code on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series sells for $200-1000

On June 23, the Mortal Kombat 1 stress test started. Some gamers are selling early access to the game for hundreds of dollars.

Offers for codes to access the stress test of the new installment of the iconic fighting game have appeared on various marketplaces, including eBay. Some sellers are willing to part with the code for $200, while others are willing to make many times that, up to $1,000.

The Stress Test opened on June 23 at 12:00 (EDT) or 09:00 (PDT) and will run until the same time on June 26. Players who have received the code will be able to compete against other gamers online in 1-on-1 mode. There is also a cutscene tower with four floors.

There are four characters available to play: Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Kenshi and Kitana. Sonya Blade, Kano and Jax Briggs are present as cameos.

Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled for release on September 19, 2023. Premium Edition and Kollector's Edition customers will be able to start playing five days early. In addition, beta testing will open in August for those who have made a pre-order.
