Hitman developers create unannounced shooter for Microsoft with working title Project Dragon

In late February 2023, Danish studio IO Interactive - creator of the Hitman and Kane & Lynch franchises - announced that it was not only working on a new James Bond game, but also on some ambitious RPG codenamed Project Fantasy.

But that doesn't seem to be all the famous developer's projects.

Here's What We Know

In documents provided by Microsoft in the course of court hearings against the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), information about another IO Interactive project has surfaced.

According to the documents, a shooter with RPG elements is in development - Project Dragon, which will (probably) become a Microsoft exclusive and will only be released on PC and Xbox.

Since the aforementioned Project Fantasy is not listed in the cited document, there is a possibility that Project Dragon and Project Fantasy are one game. But just as likely, they are two different projects.
