Former developers of Q-Games and Chuhai Labs have created a new studio - Denkiworks, which has already started its debut project

Former developers from Q-Games and Chuhai Labs have announced the creation of a new studio Denkiworks, headquartered in Kyoto:

Here's What We Know

The team consists of three co-founders: Liam Edwards, Taku Arioka, and Jan de Graa. The newly minted studio has already started developing its first game, codenamed Project Tanuki.

The three co-founders of Denkiworks previously collaborated on Pixeljunk Scrappers. Then Liam Edwards left the team to work on his new game Cursed to Golf. Now the trio has reunited to create indie games that combine elements of Eastern and Western cultures.

"We are so excited to finally reveal Denkiworks. We’ve been hard at work on our first title, inspired by our experiences of life in Japan, coming from an expat and native perspective. It’s essentially a love letter to this country and its beautiful culture."
