The new trailer of Mortal Kombat 1 introduced Geras, the Keeper of Time

NetherRealm studio presented a new trailer of Mortal Kombat 1 fighting game at Dream Con festival.
Here's What We Know
The trailer is dedicated to Geras - the immortal guardian of the hourglass.
Judging by the presented footage, this character is in confrontation with Liu Kang - the god of fire and the lord of the updated Mortal Kombat universe.
The video showed not only the conflict of the characters, but also their combat abilities: Heras has them connected with sand, and Liu-Kang creates rifts in space, where, like in a black hole, his opponent is sucked in.
When We Can Expect It
Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 19 on MS, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
A beta test will take place in August, with only a select group of gamers able to participate.
