Yuka Kitamura, music writer for Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Elden Ring, leaves FromSoftware
FromSoftware games are memorable not only for their complex and dynamic gameplay, excellent technical execution and superb design of locations and monsters.
An integral part of the Japanese studio's games is the unforgettable musical accompaniment. Each boss battle is framed by a gorgeous orchestral soundtrack, which creates a unique atmosphere and stays in your memory for a long time.
Here's What We Know
The music for Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Elden Ring was composed by composer Yuka Kitamura. She worked at FromSoftware for 12 years, but decided to leave the company.
Yuka Kitamura thanked her colleagues for their co-operation. She will continue her career as a freelancer, so it is likely that FromSoftware fans will hear her compositions in the studio's new projects.
Thank you all for your continued support.
