Pirates and cheaters, don't even try! Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be protected by two systems at once
Shortly before the release of mech action Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the developers have updated its page in Steam, as a result of which some interesting information became known.
Here's What We Know
While most developers use Denuvo to protect their games from hacking, FromSoftware has opted for a different DRM protection.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be protected by two systems at once - Easy Anti-Cheat and Arxan.
Easy Anti-Cheat is mainly used in multiplayer games, and the Japanese game includes such network elements. Easy prevents the use of banned software in online matches.
In turn, Arxan is an analogue of Denuvo and should protect Armored Core VI from pirates.
When We Can Expect It
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will release on 25 August 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox One.
