Steam sales chart published: Baldur's Gate 3 became the most profitable game of the week, surpassing even Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Steam's weekly sales chart has been published.

Here's What We Know

The leader of the chart was obvious - it was the mega-popular game Baldur's Gate 3 from Larian Studios. Surprisingly, this project, which happens very rarely, overtook even free CS:GO in terms of profitability!

Two Call of Duty games - Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 - took the second place, and the new season pass BlackCell for Modern Warfare II took the fifth place in the chart.

The popular action game Remnant II, which was in the lead for a fortnight, this time took the third line.

It should be noted that a month before the release, the role-playing game Starfield starts to enjoy a lot of interest in Steam, its pre-order was placed on the 7th line in the sales chart.

The Steam Deck console dropped as low as fourth place, which is unusually low for this product.

The full list of the ten most profitable Steam products from 1 to 8 August looks like this:

  • Baldur's Gate 3
  • Call of Duty (Modern Warfare II/ Warzone 2.0)
  • Remnant II
  • Steam Deck
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - BlackCell (Season 05)
  • American Truck Simulator
  • Starfield
  • BattleBit Remastered
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • Rust

The most profitable free-to-play games of the week were Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Apex Legends and Naraka: Bladepoint.
