Generative AI will provide any background for Shorts: YouTube has begun the gradual launch of its new Dream Screen feature

YouTube continues to integrate generative AI features into its toolkit.

Here's What We Know

Users in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand now have access to the new Dream Screen feature, which can be used to generate almost any background for Shorts.

This feature is implemented through Google's DeepMind team's Veo AI model.

YouTube users just need to formulate a text request about what kind of background they want to add to their short video and Dream Screen will fulfil their wish.

To generate the background, you need to activate the Shorts camera, select the "green screen" icon and click Dream Screen, then all that's left to do is text your request and get the background.

The Dream Screen feature will probably be available in other countries soon.
