Google Photos improves sharing menu on Pixel phones with Android 14
Google Photos has announced that it's bringing the improved sharing menu for Android 14 to more Pixel phones, giving users an easier way to share images and videos.
Here's What We Know
This new feature was originally introduced for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro last October. It's now available on all Pixel devices, including the Pixel Fold, with the Google Photos update to version 6.71.
The improved sharing menu replaces the previous custom settings, which can be slow to open. With this new feature, consumers can easily share images and videos through a variety of channels, such as links, the Photos app, or creating albums directly from the Google Photos app.
Additionally, users can quickly edit images directly from the sharing menu, allowing them to crop, adjust colours and apply filters before sharing.
This feature is already available on most Pixel devices, but is not yet supported on Pixel tablets.
