Google opened a pre-order for Pixel 6a with Tensor chip and flagship camera in 13 regions
Starting today, the new Pixel 6a smartphone can be pre-ordered on Google's site.
What we know
The smartphone is available in 13 countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The novelty has one modification with 6GB RAM 128GB ROM, as well as three colors: black, green and white. The gadget costs $449/€459/£399. Sales of the device will start on July 28.
We should remind, Pixel 6a is a simplified version of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. It has a similar look, but instead of metal and glass, the novelty got an aluminum frame and a plastic panel. The gadget is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, an 8 MP front camera (Sony IMX355) and a main camera with two 12.2 MP sensors each. The Pixel 6a is powered by the flagship Tensor processor. Out of the box, the smartphone runs on Android 12 operating system, but it will soon get Android 13.
