Honor Magic V Purse - a concept foldable smartphone that can be carried on your shoulder like a bag

At IFA 2023 in Berlin, Chinese company Honor announced several new products. One of them is a foldable smartphone Magic V Purse.

The main feature of the conceptual smartphone is its design. Buyers will be able to carry the Honor Magic V Purse on the shoulder as if it were an ordinary bag. Moreover, the company even offers interchangeable straps of different lengths and designs to the smartphone.

The device is less than 9mm thick when folded. The display of the smartphonef folds outwards, unlike most modern models equipped with foldable screens. We could see a similar solution in the first foldable Huawei phones.

The specifications of the Honor Magic V Purse have not been specified yet. But the company said that the hinge installed in the smartphone is designed for at least 400,000 folding cycles. There is no information about the price and sales launch date either. Given the announcement at IFA, we can assume that the smartphone will be sold in Europe.
