Huawei Pocket S: clutch with Snapdragon 778G chip, 120 Hz screen and 40 MP camera for $822
Huawei held a major event in China, where it showed its new foldable smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The novelty was called Huawei Pocket S. This is a simplified version of the Huawei P50 Pocket clamshell. The device differs in color and processor. Instead of the flagship chip Snapdragon 888 in Huawei Pocket S installed a mid-level SoC - Snapdragon 778G.
All other features of the smartphone remained: the main Full HD+ OLED display at 6.9" with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, an additional round screen for notifications at 1.04", 8 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of built-in, the main camera 40 MP + 13 MP, the front at 10.7 MP, a battery of 4000 mAh and fast charging at 40W.
The novelty comes with the proprietary HarmonyOS 3 operating system.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Huawei Pocket S is already available for pre-order in China. Whether the smartphone will appear on the global market - no information yet.
