Apple will fix camera shake problem on iPhone 14 Pro
Apple will soon release a software update on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, which will eliminate the problem with shaky videos when shooting on Snapchat, Instagram and other social networks. Such a problem was caused by a slight bump on the camera. According to a statement obtained by The Verge, the company is "aware of the problem and a fix will be released next week."
Here's What We Know
The bug reports started coming in over the weekend, and it became clear that the problem was either in iOS 16 or a third-party app, since the native Camera app on the iPhone didn't have this problem. Given that it is Apple that is releasing the update, we can assume that the problem was in the camera API.
A statement from Apple didn't specify what exactly was causing this kind of problem. There has been speculation that it's a matter of the phone's optical image stabilization system, which does make sense given that its job is to literally move parts of the camera.
When We Can Expect It
There's no exact release date for the update, but we can expect the fix to appear this week.
