Thanks to iOS 16.3.1: Google Photos has stopped working on iPhones and iPads

Apple today released iOS 16.3.1. Unfortunately, apart from the improvements, the firmware also contains one critical bug.

Here's What We Know

iPhone and iPad users have had their Google Photos app stop working after installing the system. This was first reported by our colleagues at The Verge. The error is massive, although there are some users whose apps continue to work after the update.

Unfortunately, Google has not yet commented on the situation. It is also unknown whether the bug can be fixed with a server update or if a new version of the app will have to be released.
