This will be a minor update. Apple is likely to optimise the software, as well as fix bugs. For example, the Wi-Fi problem that was never fixed after the release of iOS 17.1.1.

You shouldn't expect iOS 17.1.2 to be released this week. Most likely, the system will be released next Monday.
