Experts laud all aspects of the adaptation, with interesting characters that don't look like an exact copy of their game alter egos, quality and in-depth dialog, top-notch staging and, of course, a touching story.

The critics specifically pointed out that the series is not focused on the two main characters, and shows the life and no less interesting secondary characters.

The journalists were very impressed by the acting of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, they fully immersed into their roles and showed their emotions and feelings with utmost precision.

Because the game is in a serial format, it has less action, but more personal relationships, which only emphasizes the beautiful story.
