The creators of Andor have revealed a release date for the second season. No sequel will be released this year

At Star Wars Celebration, Luscasfilm and Disney have revealed the release dates for the second season of the series Andor, which takes place in the Star Wars universe.

Here's What We Know

Filming on the new season of Andor began in November 2022.

Events of the series will unfold before the twists and turns of the feature film "Rogue One" - between the third and fourth episodes of the Star Wars saga.

A sequel to the story of Rebel Cassian Andor will be released in the summer or fall of 2024.

Scriptwriter and series creator Tony Gilroy said his team has big plans for a second season of Andor, but it will be the final one. There are no plans for a continuation of the series.
