'They're dying to meet you': Mike Flanagan's new 'The Fall Of The House Of Usher' poster reveals an eerie and gory portrait of the family

Ahead of the release of Mike Flanagan's highly anticipated horror film The Fall of the House of Usher, Netflix have released a new poster showing a bloody family portrait.

Here's What We Know

During his tenure at Netflix, which will culminate with The Fall Of The House Of Usher, Flanagan has created several memorable shows that carry his unique horror style, including The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, and The Midnight Club, which he created with Leah Fong.

Consisting of eight episodes, "The Fall Of The House Of Usher" is based on the classic works of Edgar Allan Poe. The series will focus on the Usher family, who own the corrupt Fortunato Pharmaceuticals company. Strange and violent deaths begin to plague the family as their dark past comes out and leads to their demise.

The poster for the film shows a masked woman walking past a gory portrait that highlights the ensemble cast of the adaptation.

"They are dying to meet you..." - reads the caption to the image.

Flanagan brought in several familiar collaborators and newcomers to tell the story. The cast of The Fall Of The House Of Usher stars Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, T'Nia Miller, Samantha Sloyan, Bruce Greenwood, Sauriyan Sapkota and Mary McDonnell, all of whom have previously worked with Flanagan.

This project becomes the end of Flanegan's partnership with Netflix, as the horror creator has signed his production company Intrepid Pictures to Amazon Studios. Flanegan is moving there along with his creative partner Trevor Macy.

But for now, Flanegan is ready to offer another, latest and classy horror to Netflix subscribers with "The Fall Of The House Of Usher."

When We Can Expect It

The series will debut on Netflix on October 12.
