The Toxic Avenger is written and directed by Macon Blair, who previously worked on I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore. The film will continue the franchise originally created by Lloyd Kaufman.

Here's What The Movie Is About

Set in a fictional world, the film tells the story of Winston, a typical powerless man who works as a caretaker at a Garb-X fitness club. He is diagnosed with an incurable disease, which can only be saved with the help of expensive therapy. However, his greedy and overbearing boss refuses to pay for the treatment. Deciding to take matters into his own hands and rob his company, Winston falls into a container of toxic waste, mutates and transforms into an ugly and then heroic monster who will have to restore order in the city and take revenge on all those who did him an injustice.
