Return to Panem is getting closer and ahead of the release of the prequel to the popular "The Hunger Games" franchise, Total Film has released a fresh still from the film and also spoke to director Francis Lawrence.

Here's What We Know

According to the director, "The Hunger Games: A Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" promises to present a very different version of Coriolanus Snow and show his path to becoming a cruel and tyrannical ruler.

"We start in a very different place with Snow," director Francis Lawrence tells Total Film magazine. "We see a young man who’s struggling, and who’s part of a family that’s lost their fortune. He’s putting on an act that he still has money, still has status. He also starts in a much more positive place than you would imagine. It’s part of what’s fun about the story, that you see him break bad."
