Tom Hardy and writer Scott Snyder will co-produce a futuristic comic book series called Arcbound

"Venom" star Tom Hardy has taken on the role of creative co-creator, for the comic book series "Arcbound".

Here's What We Know

The actor is collaborating with screenwriter Scott Snyder, the acclaimed author of Batman and Justice League comics. Hardy will reportedly focus on character development in the expansive "Arcbound" universe.

The creative team also includes creator Frank Tieri, known for his work on Wolverine and Deadpool, and artist Ryan Smallman, who worked on Fortnite. The variant cover artists are Ryan Ottley, Clay Mann, Tyler Kirkham and Dan Panosian.

The 12-issue comic will premiere at New York Comic Con on Saturday.

The official description reads: "The formidable corporatocracy, Zynitec, harnesses the unmatched energy of Kronium to assert its dominion across the stars. The Arcbound series chronicles the journey of Kai, a resolute Mediator Captain, tasked with maintaining Zynitec’s lifeline to Kronium. However, as he grapples with the morality of his role, revelations about Zynitec’s dubious past thrust him into a poignant quandary: to remain loyal to the empire or to confront the forces that molded him into a tool of oppression."

When We Can Expect It

The first issue will go on sale in March, but a preview version will be available at New York Comic Con at the Arcbound booth starting Thursday.
