One step away from the worldwide release of "Godzilla Minus One," a fresh video with new footage has been released
Godzilla Minus One, directed by Takashi Yamazaki, is currently hitting Japanese cinemas, and is gearing up for a release outside of the country. In honour of this, we're presented with a new excerpt that gives us a glimpse of what's in store!
Here's What We Know
This project is the first under TOHO's Rave era, and it promises to be different from the Godzilla we've seen before. Whether it was the introduction of Legendary's MonsterVerse or the previous version in the form of Shin Godzilla, the plot of Godzilla Minus One is set during an extremely important period in Japan's history following one of the most devastating.
Toho hints at what to expect from Godzilla Minus One: "After the war, Japan's economic state has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state."
Toho International President Koiju Ueda adds: "Set in a post-war Japan, Godzilla Minus One will once again show us a Godzilla that is a terrifying and overwhelming force...The concept is that Japan, which had already been devastated by the war, faces a new threat with Godzilla."
