Here's What We Know

According to Deadline, Focus Features has acquired the global distribution rights to the film in partnership with New Regency, with Universal responsible for distribution outside the U.S..

"This film exemplifies our commitment to collaborate with the industry’s best filmmakers and production partners, and we can’t wait to build upon its early success to draw audiences into this poignant film bolstered by powerful performances from an incredible cast." - Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski said.

Here's What The Movie Is About

The main character Katie, played by Jodie Comer, recounts her marriage to wild biker Benny, played by Austin Butler, and how she tried to cope with his violent nature in the name of love and loyalty to gang leader Johnny, played by Tom Hardy.

The film, directed by Jeff Nichols, is based on the 1968 photo book of the same name, which includes photos and stories from members of the Chicago Outlaws motorbike club.

When We Can Expect It

After The Bikeriders was removed from Disney's film schedule and temporarily postponed due to the strike (original release date was December 1, 2023), it now appears that the film is expected to hit big screens in 2024.
