Mysterious visions, love and great battles: What the new "Dune: Part Two" trailer revealed

The saga continues with "Dune: Part Two," directed by Denis Villeneuve. Today, Warner Bros. Discovery have released a fresh trailer for the second part of "Dune", where through Paul Atreides' visions we are revealed the events of the upcoming film.

Here's What We Know

"Dune: Part Two" is an adaptation of the next chapter of Frank Herbert's famous novel "Dune".

This time Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, joins forces with the Free Men to fight the Harkonnens.

In the clip, our hero is tormented by visions in which he and his allies are threatened with defeat. All possible futures portend disaster. But there is a chance for victory, for which we have to pay a devastating price.

It looks like we're in for a lot of gritty battles and, of course, the return of the worm.

We also get to see the romance between Paul and Chani, played by Zendaya, continue to blossom.

Here's What The Movie Is About

"Dune: Part Two" will tell the mythical journey of Paul Atreides as he teams up with Chani and the Fremen on a journey of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Faced with a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he strives to prevent a terrible future that only he can foresee.

The cast is very "Oscar-worthy" and includes: Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar nominee Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar nominee Josh Brolin, Oscar nominee Austin Butler, Oscar nominee Florence Pugh, Oscar nominee Dave Bautista, Oscar winner Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgård, Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling and Oscar winner Javier Bardem.

When We Can Expect It

"Dune: Part Two" will be released in cinemas on March 1, 2024.
