Rumour has it that Marvel has already decided who to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror with
A new rumour suggests that Emmy Award winner Colman Domingo could be Jonathan Majors' replacement as Kang the Conqueror - and fans are loving it.
Here's What We Know
According to recent reports, Jonathan Majors, who played Kang the Conqueror in "Loki" and "Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania", will no longer return to the role, which puts the future "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" project in question.
As a reminder, Majors was sentenced for assault and harassment last month. Pending sentencing, the actor could face jail time over an incident with his girlfriend in early 2023. Disney waited for the trial to be completed, but once the verdict was handed down, they stopped working with the actor.
However, according to new rumours, Kang could be played by The Walking Dead actor Colman Domingo.
While there has been no official confirmation of this information from Marvel Studios yet, insider Daniel Richtman (DanielRPK) claims that Domingo is being seriously considered for the role of Kang and will possibly play the role throughout Marvel's "Multiverse Saga", in which Kang is rumoured to play the role of the "main villain".
Judging by the discussions online, fans have taken a favourable view of this information. Many, felt that Domingo would rather appear in DC than join Marvel, considering he won an Emmy for his role in HBO's "Euphoria" and is considered an Oscar candidate for his role in "The Color Purple." Both "Euphoria" and "The Color Purple" are from Warner Bros. Studios, which owns DC.
When We Can Expect It
"Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" is expected to be released on May 1, 2026.
