Four new directors will join the production process of The Last of Us Season 2
The second season of The Last of Us TV adaptation will start filming on 12 February 2024. Now, we have learned about the directors who have joined the project.
Here's What We Know
One of the new directors is Mark Mylod, who won an Emmy for directing the series Succession. Also, Nina Lopez-Corrado (Perry Mason), Stephen Williams (Watchmen) and Kate Herron (Loki) joined the series.
However, it is not known how many episodes each will shoot. The first season consisted of nine episodes, which were created by seven directors.
It is also worth reminding that Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann (game director of The Last of Us) will remain showrunners.
When We Can Expect It
The Season 2 does not even have an approximate release date, but the premiere is expected in 2025.
