Monster Appetite: McDonald's unveils Godzilla Big Mac menu - watch promo video

The McDonald's chain has been delighting its customers with cool and creative collaborations for several years now. Remember the burger created in honour of Loki before the show's second season. Now, the fast food restaurant has taken inspiration from Godzilla and created a new giant Big Mac.

Here's What We Know

McDonald's Japan has just released a new teaser to unveil the Kaiju-sized Big Mac:

The clip depicts Godzilla's "Golden Age." We are shown an ordinary citizen who looks upwards in horror. The camera then takes us to a city skyscraper in Japan, which is being destroyed by the forces of a brand new Kaiju - the Big Mac monster. Agreed, it's pretty epic.

Godzilla burgers are only available in Japan and are served on homemade buns with colourful sesame seeds that resemble Godzilla's scales. In terms of flavours, the collaborations include: teriyaki with double cheese, beef and mashed potatoes, and chicken with smoked peppers.

It's no surprise that McDonald's chose Godzilla for the collab this time around. Needless to say, there's been a lot of buzz around Toho's Godzilla Minus One and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters for the past few months.

Hopefully, when "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" comes out in the spring, McDonald's will be launching burgers all over the world.
