A new show from the creators of Games Of Thrones has been announced: the cast includes actors from Succession and the DCU
The creators of the cult series Games Of Thrones, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, have unveiled their plans for a new show for Netflix, and the first members of its cast have been announced.
Here's What We Know
Benioff and Weiss will reportedly become executive producers of the Netflix series Death by Lightning, along with co-executive producer Bernie Caulfield. The show will star Succession's Matthew Macfadyen and Michael Shannon, who played General Zod, Superman's adversary in DC's Man of Steel (2013).

"Death by Lightning" has been given an official synopsis:
"Death by Lightning is a drama series that brings to life the epic and stranger-than-fiction true story of James Garfield, reluctant 20th president of the United States, and his greatest admirer Charles Guiteau — the man who would come to kill him.".
The series is based on Candice Millard's book Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine, and the Murder of a President. The narrative documentary was released in 2012 to critical acclaim, becoming a The New York Times bestseller.
