Here's What The Movie Is About
The Sonic movie, based on the 90s video game franchise Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega, brings the beloved coin-operated hedgehog to life and is popular with old and new fans alike.
In the first film, Sonic is discovered by an evil scientist named Eggman, who plans to use the hedgehog's superpowers for his own selfish purposes. After escaping from the scientist, Sonic, along with his partner Tails, faced Eggman and new adversary Knuckles in the film's sequel.
Details about the plot of the third film remain a mystery, but based on the conclusion of "Sonic 2," we can assume that Sonic's next opponent will be Shadow, the game's main character, who is a darker version of Sonic and acts as his main rival.
When We Can Expect It
"Sonic 3" is set to be released in cinemas on December 20, 2024.
