The Naruto manga will be adapted into a live-action film by the director of Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Lionsgate Studios will reportedly make a film based on the popular "Naruto" manga. The director and screenwriter chosen is the director of "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", Destin Daniel Cretton.

There was talk of a live-action Naruto film as far back as nine years ago, but later any news about the project just went quiet. Now, the film has been officially announced, and Cretton has already met with franchise creator Masashi Kishimoto, who will help oversee the film.
With no small number of animated films, TV series and games in its arsenal, "Naruto" has long been recognised as one of the premier anime franchises. The manga has been distributed in over 250 million copies in over 60 countries, and it has amassed a huge fan base over the past few decades.
The iconic Naruto animated series was released in two parts from 2002 to 2017, and now fans only have to wait for the long-awaited full-length, anime-based film adaptation.
